Night Ops

alot of people have blades.

either from Spyderco, Cold Steel, or whatever. How do you use them? Do you break locks, dig holes, open boxes, or just whip it out to fuck up your steak?

I use mine primarily for cutting (wires, ropes/strings, sheets, etc) and prying things open such as weak windows. I voted cutting though because I use it more for that.

Well I would've voted for that if the stupid poll wasn't broken...

I need a better knife, the one I have now is only strong enough for light to medium cutting.

Hmm i still need to get a blade... any suggestions for a good all-around knife i could use for utility purposes (NOT as a weapon)?

A full tang, stainless steel (or better), single-edged blade with a glass breaker in the hilt and a durable, accesible and silent sheath. Preferably black.
